Show-Me Innovation Pitch Competitions

On November 1st, the Callaway Chamber of Commerce hosted the Show-Me Innovation Pitch Competitions, showcasing local talent across three categories: adult, collegiate, and teen. The adult competition, presented by The Callaway Bank, awarded 1st Place to Alissa Kendrick of Flutter Lash Lounge, who received $3,000 to establish her studio in Callaway County. Allison Pawlish of Killer Sweet Desserts took 2nd Place with a prize of $1,500 to enhance her mobile cart for events.

In the collegiate category, presented by the SBDC at Lincoln University, Alyson Hollrah of Inn by Ally, LLC won 1st Place and $2,000 to renovate her rental properties, while Kenny Angeles and Latham Logue secured 2nd Place with $1,000 for their affordable housing project, Pure Life Community.

The teen competition, presented by the Callaway Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development recognized Isabelle Borcherding of Social Solutions as the 1st Place winner, earning $750 to invest in her marketing startup, and Bryli DeLashmutt of Homemade by Bry took 2nd Place with $250 to enhance her baking and crocheting business.
